Authors

The authors page is split in two: pending invitations on top, active authors below.

Pending invitations

People you’ve invited who haven’t finished signing up yet. Each row has buttons to Resend the invitation email or Revoke the invitation entirely.

Active authors

A table listing, for each author:

  • Name (links to their detail page) and email.
  • Role — admin, editor, or author. See Roles & permissions.
  • Whether the author has the direct-publish flag.
  • Status — active or suspended. Suspended authors are hidden by default; toggle Show suspended to include them.
  • The number of posts they’ve published and have in draft.

The detail page for each author is where you change their role, grant or revoke direct-publish, and suspend or restore the account. To invite a new author, use the Invite button at the top.

Applications

People apply to contribute via the public How to contribute page. Their submissions land here.

The page is grouped into three tabs — Pending, Invited, and Declined— with stat cards at the top showing how many applications sit in each. The list is paginated (25 per page) and each row shows the applicant’s name, email, a snippet of their pitch, and when they applied.

Click a row to open the full application. From there you can accept (which moves them to invited and triggers the invite email) or decline.

Subscribers

The subscriber list is everyone who has signed up to the Valeon newsletter via the footer form. The page shows:

  • Total active subscriber count and all-time signup count at the top.
  • A paginated table (50 per page) with each subscriber’s email, subscription date, and status — active or unsubscribed.
  • A toggle to show only active subscribers or include unsubscribed entries.

You can unsubscribe a subscriber on their behalf (this action is logged in the audit log). To get the list out of the dashboard, use Export CSV. The export runs in your browser and produces a CSV file you can download.

Audit log

The audit log is a chronological record of consequential actions taken on the platform — invitations sent, roles changed, accounts suspended, posts published, audio approved, inbound mail received. It’s append-only: nothing is ever removed, so it’s a permanent record.

Filter to a specific kind of action using the pills at the top (All, Invites, Role changes, Suspensions, Publishes, Approvals, Inbound mail). Click any row to expand it and see the full payload — for example, the reason an account was suspended.

The audit log is read-only

You can’t edit, delete, or hide entries. If something sensitive was logged that needs scrubbing, raise it with the team rather than trying to remove it yourself.
